If you have any specific ideas or themes for your session please let me know so I can plan just the right backdrop, prop, or location to really capture what you are envisioning for your portrait.

If you have certain locations in mind for your session, please let me know in advance, so we can plan on being there at just the right time.  Lighting is key!  Some locations work better for morning sessions while others are better in the evening.  Shooting at high noon is not ideal and most sessions will be done early morning or in the evening.  Also, I do have access to several private locations, so please mention it in advance so that I can contact the property owner.

Your session will generally last 1-3 hours depending on the type of session.  To give you an example:  Senior sessions are 1-3 hours, Family session take about 1 to 1-1/2 hours and young children take less than an 1 hour.

Every client will be required to fill out a Session Contract and Model Release.  The contract includes payment information, expectations, delivery and copyright information.  The Model Release allows Fallon Mindt Portraits to use your photographs for advertising, marketing, print competitions, etc.  If you do not want your photographs shared in any way on social media please let us know at the time of your ordering session.

I prefer to photograph most sessions outdoors.  Why not take advantage of Montana's great scenery?  We live in a beautiful place and I would much rather have that as your background. 

Generally photographing your session outdoors is okay, even if it is cloudy or there is snow!  Usually rain, snow, extreme cold or gusty winds will be the only factors that will prevent our ability to shoot outside.   Please take this into account if little ones are part of the family.  Infants and small children have trouble staying warm.   If this occurs we will reschedule your session for a later date.
